When connecting to Receipt Radar with your Gmail account you'll now need to make sure your account is set up with 2-Step Verification βœ…

Sounds technical but it's super easy to set up! πŸ™Œ Once it's in place, it will protect your account, preventing anyone who shouldn't be from accessing your Google account and protecting your personal data πŸ”.

How to set up 2-Step verification for Gmail Receipt Radar

If you're connecting a Gmail account to Receipt Radar for the first time, you'll be prompted to enable 2-step verification in a few easy steps πŸ‘‡.

  1. Hit that 'Let's go!' button to get started πŸ“²

  2. Enter your phone number and hit 'Next' ⏭️

  3. You'll then receive an SMS from Google πŸ“³

  4. Verify your phone number by inputting the Enter code from Google

  5. Once you're done, tap 'Verify' and the '3. Tap here once 2-Step verification has been enabled' to connect your account to Receipt Radar πŸŽ‰

  6. Sit back and watch the points roll in 😎

You'll also get an email from Google to confirm that an app password has been created to secure your account. It will look a little something like this:
