By connecting the Gener8 Safari Extension, you can earn points automatically as you browse on mobile. Follow the steps below to get set up and start earning.
Start the setup in the Gener8 App 📱
Before heading to your mobile Safari browser, you need to initiate the connection from the Gener8 app.
Open the Gener8 app on your iPhone
Navigate to the My Data tab
Under the Everyday activity section, find Supercharge Safari
Tap Set up now
Review the introductory screens
Tap I understand, let’s go! to be redirected to mobile Safari
Enable the Safari extension ▶️
Once mobile Safari opens to the Gener8 setup page, you need to manually turn on the extension.
Tap the ‘AA’ icon in the Safari address bar (Page Settings menu)
Tap Manage Extensions
Find Gener8 in the list
Toggle the switch to On
Tap Done
Grant necessary permissions 🪄
For the extension to track your activity and award points, it needs permission to run on the websites you visit.
When prompted, tap Always Allow… for “Gener8 Rewards” to access the site
On the second confirmation, select Always Allow on Every Website
Verify your activation ✅
Once permissions are granted, you’ll see a confirmation screen in mobile Safari.
Look for the “All done!” message with the green checkmark
Return to the Gener8 app
You should see a green checkmark next to Supercharge Safari with the status Activated
💡Make sure that the Gener8 Extension is toggled on and that you've allowed permissions by selecting 'Always allow' and 'Always allow on every website'. No permissions, no points!
