If you've previously connected to Clean My Inbox, it may have set up filters and labels in your email that are still sorting your messages automatically. The good news is that you can remove them directly in your email settings. Follow these steps to restore your inbox to its usual setup.

Stop New Emails from Being Filed Away

  1. Log in to your Gmail account using a web browser.

  2. Click the gear icon in the top-right corner and select "See all settings."

  3. Navigate to the Filters and Blocked Addresses tab.

    • Look for any filters related to Clean My Inbox and delete them.

  4. Go to the Labels tab.

    • Find and remove any unwanted labels associated with Clean My Inbox.

Move Emails Back to Your Inbox

  1. Use the search bar in Gmail and type:

    -in:inbox
    • This will show emails that are not currently in your inbox.

  2. Select the emails you want to move.

  3. Click Move to Inbox โ€“ this process may take a few seconds.

Once youโ€™ve completed these steps, your emails should stop being sorted into folders, and everything will return to your usual inbox setup. If you continue experiencing issues, double-check your filters and labels to ensure none remain.
