💻 Gener8 Browser

MacOS

To uninstall the Gener8 Browser on macOS, you can follow these simple steps:

  1. Open Finder: Click the Finder icon (usually in the Dock) to open a Finder window.

  2. Go to Applications: In the Finder sidebar, click on "Applications."

  3. Locate the Gener8 Browser

  4. Move to Trash: Drag the Gener8 Browser app icon to the Trash, or right-click it and select "Move to Trash."

  5. Empty the Trash: Right-click the Trash icon in the Dock and select "Empty Trash" to permanently delete the app.

Windows

To uninstall the Gener8 Browser on Windows, you can follow these simple steps:

If you're using Windows 10:
Uninstall from the Start menu

    Type chrome://extensions/ in the address bar and press Enter.

  2. Find the Gener8 Extension

  3. Remove the Extension:

    • Click Remove below the the Gener8 Extension.

    • Confirm the removal by clicking Remove in the pop-up.

How to remove the Gener8 Extension on Firefox

  1. Go to Add-ons and Themes
    Click the three horizontal lines (menu icon) in the top-right corner.
    Select Add-ons and themes from the dropdown menu, or press Ctrl + Shift + A (Windows/Linux) or Cmd + Shift + A (Mac).

  2. Manage Extensions:

    • In the left sidebar, click on Extensions.

  3. Remove the Gener8 Extension:

    • Find the Gener8 Extension.

    • Click the three-dot menu next to the extension and select Remove.

  1. Open the Gener8 App and select My Data

  2. Find Receipt Radar under Everyday Activity

  3. Select Accounts and tap the pen 🖊️ next to Linked accounts

  4. To disconnect an email from Receipt Radar, tap the ⛔️ next to the email address

  5. Select Remove on the pop up to finalise

  4. Select the Extension: Find the Gener8 Safari Extension

  5. Turn Off: Simply toggle off the extension to disable it.

To disconnect Android Activity on the Gener8 App:

  1. Open Settings: Open the Settings app on your Android device.

  2. Find Accessibility

  3. Scroll to Installed apps

  4. Select Gener8 and toggle the switch ‘off’


📱 Location data (Android)

To remove Gener8’s location permissions on Android:

  1. Open Settings: Open the Settings app on your Android device.

    • Scroll down and tap on Apps (or Apps & notifications or Manage apps depending on your device).

  3. Select the Gener8 App:

  4. Tap on Permissions:

    • In the app's settings, tap on Permissions.

  6. Select Don’t Allow: Choose Don’t Allow to remove Gener8 Location data
