What is Receipt Radar?

A brand new feature to the Gener8 App, Receipt Radar will help you automatically earn points from your e-receipts πŸ₯³. This integration allows you to earn even more points from your online purchases by simply linking your Gmail account to Gener8. Once connected, you'll be instantly rewarded for each receipt πŸŽ‰.

Receipt Radar is available on iOS and Android devices and will soon be available on the Gener8 Browser and Extension.

🎯 How does this work?

Get started: Link your email account to Gener8

  • Select 'Continue with Google' and sign in to your Gmail account (if you don't have a Gmail account, click another email provider to be notified when they're available!)

  • Once you've selected 'accept permissions' and connected your account, Receipt Radar will scan for e-receipts from selected merchants.

    ⏰ The first scan may take up to 10 minutes

πŸͺ„ Receipt Radar works its magic every 24 hours

You can select 'Check for new receipts' at any point but once you're connected, Receipt Radar will automatically scan for e-receipts every 24 hours πŸ™Œ.

βš™οΈ Can I deactivate Receipt Radar?

You sure can (although you'll miss out on earning extra Gener8 points πŸ₯Ή)!

To deactivate, select the settings βš™οΈ button in the top right corner of the Gener8 App and tap 'Remove'. Once deactivated, you won't lose any points previously earned from Receipt Radar but it will stop scanning for e-receipts and you'll automatically stop earning points.

πŸ“§ Can I add more than one email account?

Right now, you can connect one Gmail account at any one time. However, if you do want to earn from more than one Gmail account you can remove the account and add another account to maximise your earnings.

πŸ“§ When will other email providers be available on Receipt Radar?

We are currently in the process of expanding our email providers and adding support for Outlook, Yahoo and other providers. Keep an eye on our updates and we'll let you know when the new feature is available.

πŸ“§ Something missing from your purchases on Receipt Radar?

Receipt Radar will scan for receipts from an ever-expanding list of selected retailers. If you can't currently see one of your recent purchases, don't sweat it! It's most likely not made it onto our supported list yet. We'll be continuously adding new retailers as we go πŸ™Œ.

🫧 What is Clean My Inbox?

Clean My Inbox allows you to easily organise and clean up your email inbox πŸ§ΉπŸ“§.

After connecting your email account, it provides recommendations of senders to remove from your main inbox and unsubscribe from unwanted mailing lists.

🎯 How does this work?

Get started: Link your email account to Gener8

  • Once you've selected 'accept permissions' and connected your account, Clean My Inbox will scan and find suggestions to remove from your main inbox.

🧹 What happens when I toggle off a sender?

Once the scan is complete, Clean My Inbox will display all mailing lists found. When you toggle the sender 'off', Gener8 will declutter your main inbox by moving these to a new labelled folder called 'Gener8 - Clean My Inbox' βœ….

These emails won't be deleted (and we won't unsubscribe you from the mailing lists), so you'll still be able to find the emails should you want to!

Toggling the sender back 'on' will undo this and all the emails in the label will be returned to your main inbox πŸ‘Œ.

❎ Can I remove or switch email accounts?

Right now, you can only connect one email account at any time so you won't be able to switch between multiple accounts.

To deactivate Clean My Inbox, select the settings βš™οΈ button in the top right corner of the Gener8 App and tap 'Remove'. Once deactivated, we'll remove all filtering and labelling and your email account will be restored to its original state.
